A new type of sensor that uses Hall effect to measure displacement is introduced. The experimental research shows that the accuracy can reach 0.01mm in the range of 3mm. Application of this sensor, you can achieve the steel pipe, steel bar, wire rope and other slender components of the dynamic continuous measurement of diameter.
