人的活法太多了。所以人们才对伟人感兴趣,因为一个人要在这世界上活一次真是太不容易了。人们真诚地崇拜伟人,是因为这种崇拜中寄托着对自身价值的肯定和渴望,就像茨威格所说的:“伟大的榜样能影响整整一代人,或使人沉沦,或使人高尚。” 伟人可以是一种标志。充满才智和热情的人徘徊在伟人的身旁,是希望能从伟人的过去看到自己甚至人类的希望。富于感受力和想象力的人眺望伟人的神坛,是沉醉于伟人的气质和风采。 伟人还可以是一种欣赏。即使是最平凡的市井百姓,也可以在茶余饭后,或听或讲,生一回感触,用伟人的喜怒悲欢来点缀生活情趣,来陶冶为人性情。
