According to Zhao Qizheng, deputy mayor of Shanghai and director of Pudong New Area’s management committee, recently disclosed that in 1993, GDP of Pudong reached 16.4 billion yuan, a comparable increase of 100% over 1990, achieving "three double Strategic goal.
