Since the twentieth century, Japan has been carrying out protection, inheritance and research on traditional crafts. Today’s Japan, many handicraft workshops still exist in the most original way. The researchers recorded the work and living conditions of old artists and old workshops throughout the process and summarized and summarized their production techniques and works. In a limited amount of resources, they kept a batch of precious historical materials. Such actions not only benefit from the government’s attention and cultural awareness of the whole nation, but especially the Japanese citizens’ respect and care for the traditional culture. Among these, a compilation of the book “Folk Art Books” caught my attention. Therefore, I translated a whole series of books to introduce Japanese folk crafts. Secondly, I introduced the research methods used by Japan in protecting folk arts. For our arts and crafts researchers and practitioners learn from.
