According to a study by Scientia Horticulturae (http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.scienta.2016.02.032), Maurizio Zamboni et al from the Catholic University of Sacred Heart of Italy studied the effects of different concentrations of nitrogen on new Effects of Vegetative Growth, Physiology and Nutritional Behavior of Grape Rootstocks. Viniculture is in urgent need of new rootstocks that can control scion growth and resistance to major biotic and abiotic stresses. The researchers conducted a two-year pot experiment to assess the performance of the two new rootstocks, M1 and M3, compared with commercial rootstocks 1103P and 101-14. Potted plants
