1990年9月上旬,冶金部在上钢三厂召开了连铸设备管理工作会议。会议的目的是贯彻“连铸为中心,炼钢为基础,设备为保证”的方针,并布置了要实现连铸设备达产的总目标和所要做的工作。会上有十几个钢铁企业介绍了连铸设备管理的经验,其中备件管理搞得比较好的有:首都钢铁公司,韶关钢铁厂、安阳钢铁公司。
