素质教育新理念下,教师不仅要关注学生掌握地理基础知识和基本技能的能力,更要树立培养学生认知能力、实践能力和创新能力的观念,使学生逐步具有地理科学观点、科学方法和人文精神,逐步形成良好的行为方式。通过课程标准的要求和课本内容的反映,我们不难发现,尽管现在的教材在知识难度的要求上比较低,删除了比较多的内容,但是,对于学生认知能力、实践能力以及分析实际问题能力的要求逐渐加强,学生学习地理的困难仍相当突出。那么,造成学生学习地理困难的原因究竟有哪些呢?作为地理教师应该采取什么措施呢?
