一、回顾一年来的奋斗历程,我们已站在了新的历史起点即将过去的2008年,是望城发展史上极不平凡的一年。一年来,我们贯彻落实党的十七大精神和中央、省、市的决策部署,奋起抗击历史上罕见的冰冻灾害,积极稳妥做好区划调整工作,重新谋划望城的战略定位、奋斗目标和发展布局,切实加强干部队伍和软环境建设,全面投身“两型社会”及大河西先导区建设,有效克服国际金融危机带来的不利影响,强力推进项目建设,经济社会实现又好又快发展。预计全年完成地区生产总值184亿元、全社会固定资产投资158.8亿元、财政总收入14亿元,其中地方财政收入11亿元。
