笔者收藏了竺可桢和巴金这两位20世纪科学和文学巨擘的信札,字里行间流淌着纯真的友情。巴金(1904～2005年)原名李尧棠,字芾甘,四川人,祖籍浙江。现代文学家、出版家、翻译家,“五四”新文化运动以采最有影响的作家之一,20世纪中国杰出的文学大师,中国当代文坛巨匠。竺可桢(1890～1974年)又名绍荣,字藕舫,汉族,浙江上虞人。中国卓越的科学家和教育家,当代著名的地理学家和气象学家,中国近代地理学的奠基人。童第周(1902～1979年)浙江省鄞县人,是享誉海内外的卓越的生物学家、教育家..生前曾担任过中国科学院副院长、动物研究所所长他是卓越的实验胚胎学家,中国实验胚胎学的主要奠基人,20世纪生物科学研究的杰出领导者萧乾(1910～1999年)原名萧炳乾,蒙古族,祖籍黑龙江省兴安岭地区,生于北京。世界闻名的记者,卓有成就的翻译家、作家,也是著名的中外文化交流使者。
