北京市统计局局长唐龙在全市统计工作会议上，对 １９９９ 年全市统计工作提出明确要求：１９９９ 年，全市统计工作要认真贯彻中央和北京市经济工作会议精神，紧紧围绕中央领导对统计工作“快、精、准”的要求，进一步解放思想，转变观念，以提高统计数据质量为中心，深化统计制度改革，加快统计信息工程建设，努力提高统计服务水平，为迎接建国 ５０ 周年和澳门回归做出新贡献
