地质矿产部海洋地质研究所为研究中国近海及其沿岸大陆第四纪地层对比,于今年9、10月间,在江苏省第二水文地质队和浙江省水文地质队的积极支持、密切配合下,分别于江苏淮北地区及南黄海海区进行了两个钻孔的施工工作.明年将继续进行其他钻孔的施工.陆地钻孔(ZK1)位于江苏省响水县陈港镇泗桃湾东北,距灌河入海口约10公里.施工钻机为油压-1000型,采用单管单动泥浆循环钻进..钻孔深度为402.24米,获取岩芯总长为337.37米,全孔平均采取率为83.9%.为目前淮北地区已施工第四纪钻孔中,穿越岩层较为完整采取率较高的一个钻孔.综观该孔岩层具有明显的旋回构造,在粘土、亚粘土及粉砂层中所见的多为水平层理,且在几个层位中见有软体动物化石.其主要岩相似为滨海平原的河湖相,夹有若干海相层位.海上钻孔(QC1)位于122°30′E、31°30′N,水深29.50米、潮差2.4米的南黄海.钻探船为排水1350吨的甬机2号,钻机为油压650型,主要用双管双动配合单管单动泥浆循环钻进.钻孔深度(从海底算起)114.60米,是目前黄、东海第四纪钻孔中最深的一个孔.
