青岛市京剧团在北京演出了言(菊明)派戏《卧龙吊孝》《让徐州》等剧目,受到首都戏剧界和观众的欢迎。中国戏剧家协会和北京市文联于6月6日联合召开了言派艺术座谈会。到会的有马少波、罗合如、薜恩厚、许姬传、翁偶虹、景孤血、郑亦秋、范钧宏、祁野耘、张艾丁、陶君起以及青岛市京剧团主要演员言少朋、张少楼、张春秋、董春柏等40余人,座谈会由中国剧协副秘书长伊兵主持。到会同志一致为言派戏在京剧舞台上重现而高兴。自从1943年言菊朋先生去世后,言派戏在京剧舞台上就很少见了,但是言菊朋先生对京剧须生的唱腔、表演等各方面都有独特的创造,别具风格,因此大家认为提倡扶植言派戏,对今后京剧须生艺术的丰富有很大的好处。

We think it is of great benefit to advocate the promotion of the art of speech and the enrichment of art in the future.
