Toll-like receptors play an important role in the infection of innate pathogenic microorganisms and in the regulation of innate immunity and adaptive immunity, and they are important bridges linking innate and acquired immunity. The role of TLRs in hepatitis B virus is complex, with its specific pattern recognition and network regulation of each other involved in the pathogenesis of chronic hepatitis B and chronic severe hepatitis.
