1950年河北省发生小麦红蜘蛛及麦叶蜂,前保定农场创造此车,经在保定附近实际试验及推广应用结果,适于当前一般老乡们的经济条件,且较其它人工捕打法简捷,其制作简便,普通木工即能做成,每车价值约40斤小米左右;每小时可捕打麦田2至3亩,一次可捕打苗上虫子40——60%,并且不伤害麦苗。唯一缺点是地面不平时木盘容易擦地。兹特介绍出来,希望各地能试制与继续改造,使它成为一个能够推广的农县。
