种传病害中,病原体侵入种子内部的也不少,对此用药剂消毒其效果不好,而多利用热处理。热处理有温汤浸渍和干热处理。温汤浸渍时为了不影响种子发芽,温度在50—55℃之间,因此对耐热性强的烟草普通花叶病毒(TMV)病原体就难以奏效。然而,根据作物种类,有些种子可耐70-80℃高温,故用干热处理种子对那些温汤浸渍和药剂消毒效果不好的种传病害来说,就具有显著效果。
