Transformation kinetics of β′ to β in Cu-Zn alloy was studied by the method of DSC. The results show that the beginning and ending temperatures of β′ to β transformation in Cu-Zn alloy are 446.23 and 460.42 ℃, respectively, and the time of β′ to β transformation is 114.84 S, when the alloy was heated with heating rate of 10 ℃·min-1. The apparent activation energy of β′ to β transformation is 4147.72 kJ·mol-1, and the activation energy of β′ to β transformation changes slightly as the volume fraction of β′ to β transformation is below 50%, and then gradually decreases with increasing β phase contents.
