在执行中美两国政府水力发电及有关水资源开发合作议定书附件一的过程中,继一九八○年三月美国政府水电代表团访华和和一九八○年十至十一月我国三峡项目水利考察团访美之后,今年五月,美国考察三峡代表团一行十人,来我国进行了为期六周的考察访问。该代表团主要由美国垦务局有关水得工程规划、水资源、经济、环境、设计等方面的工程技术人员所组成。代表团在华期间,实地查勘了三峡水利枢纽三斗坪和太平溪两个坝址;川江航道和三峡库区;以及荆江大堤与荆江和洞庭湖分洪区、分洪工程;参观了葛洲坝和丹江口工程;听取了长办对长江流域规划情况和三峡水利枢纽设计研究概况的介绍。通过这些活动,代表团成员对长江及三峡水利枢纽有了一个比较全面的了解。
In the course of implementing Annex I of the Protocol on Cooperation between China and the United States for Hydropower and Water Resources Development, following the visit of the U.S. government hydropower delegation to China in March 1980 and the visit of China to China in October-November 1980 After visiting the United States, the delegation of the Three Gorges project delegation visited the United States in May this year, the United States inspected the delegation of the Three Gorges and ten members and came to China for a six-week inspection visit. The delegation is mainly composed of the United States Bureau of Reclamation engineering design, water resources, economy, environment, design and other aspects of engineering and technical personnel. During the delegation’s visit to China, the two dam sites of the Three Gorges Dam and Taiping Creek were surveyed on the spot; the Sichuan River Channel and the Three Gorges reservoir area; flood diversion works between the Jingjiang Levee and Jingjiang River and Dongting Lake; and the visit to the Gezhouba Dam and Danjiangkou Project ; Listened to the director of the Yangtze River Basin Planning and the Three Gorges Project Design Overview. Through these activities, members of the delegation have a more comprehensive understanding of the Yangtze River and the Three Gorges Hydropower Project.
