锡尘肺系良性尘肺,由金属粉尘——锡引起的尘肺病。近来国内外都有所报告。国内文献报告有江西省劳动卫生研究所一九五六年发现14例。一九六○年广西僮族自治区矽肺防治小组,曾报告13例,另有2例为疑似患者。云南省锡业公司卫生处潘钟鸣也曾报告锡肺20例。国外资料如一九四八年捷克学者Bartak报告7例,同年Pendergress和Pyyde又报告1例,并命名为氧化锡尘肺,还进行动物实验观察。一九四九年Cuher Tin pneumoconiosis benign pneumoconiosis, caused by metal dust - tin pneumoconiosis.
