5月25日至6月1日,中国社会科学院学术委员会遵照中共中央政治局委员、中国社会科学院院长李铁映的指示,分赴贵州、四川,围绕西部大开发问题展开调研。来自该院经济、哲学、文学、史学、社会、政法和国际问题等学科的著名专家学者27人,就“当地教育人才、法制建设和思想观念如何适应西部大开发战略”和“当地经济结构调整与西部大开发”等问题,分别深入贵州的安顺、遵义、贵阳和四川的成都、绵阳及重庆市开展调研。在调研过程中,学术委员们广泛了解该地区科教事业发展、基础设施建设、生态环境保护、特色经济创建和人民生活水平提高等方面情况,并召开了多场不同类型的调研座谈会。对这些地区在西部大开发中面临的发展基础教育、
From May 25 to June 1, the Academic Committee of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, in accordance with the instructions of Li Tieying, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and director of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, went to Guizhou and Sichuan to carry out investigations and studies on the development of the western region.
