斑点叉尾(鱼回),又称沟鲶、河鲶、美洲鲶,其适应性强、生长快、易饲养、易起捕、肉质鲜美,为世界闻名的养殖品种和游钓对象。该鱼是大型温水性淡水鱼类,是以植物性饲料为主的杂食性鱼类,在天然水域中,主要摄食对象是底栖生物、水生昆虫、浮游动物、轮虫、有机碎屑和大型藻类;在人工养殖条件下对各种配合饲料都能摄取,尤喜食鱼粉、豆饼、玉米、米糠、麦麸等原料配制而成的颗粒饲料。由于其生长速度快,在其不同养殖时期,饲养管理必须相应跟上,才能确保养殖效益。
