国家自然科学基金委员会于5月13—14日对由我国著名结构化学家、学部委员卢嘉锡教授主持的“过渡金属原子簇化合物化学”重大基金项目进行了评议验收.验收专家组由学部委员吴征铠教授任组长的7位结构化学和无机化学专家组成.根据“国家自然科学基金重大项目验收意见”的要求和规定的程序,验收专家本着公正、严港、认真、求实的精神,仔细审阅了项目及所属课题的研究工作总结,认真听取了研究任务执行情况报告,核查了有奖学术论文、专著、获奖项目等研究成果.在此基础上,经过认真讨论和严格评议,专家组一致认为:本项目全部圆满完成了任务书规定的内容,达到了预期目标,取得了一批高水平的研究成果,项目总体上达到国际先进水平,部分居于国际领先.本项目的综合评价为优秀.下面,我们将专家组的主要评议意见作一介绍,以促进我国原子簇化学的研究进一步开展.
