重庆煤炭工业公司松藻矿务局地处川黔交界的重庆市綦江县。现有6对生产矿井,设计生产能力405万t,远景规划能力540万t,实际年产约300万t。矿井顶板、瓦斯、煤尘、水、火五大灾害俱全,瓦斯灾害尤为严重。为全国煤矿灾害严重矿区之一。从1958年建局到1993年,发生瓦斯事故15起,死亡226人,占事故总数的41.4％。全局已发生煤与瓦斯突出404次,最大突出强度1624t,涌出瓦斯15万m~3。年均瓦斯超限1000余次,吨煤瓦斯治理费高达21.26万元。
