第二届国际古希腊戏剧集会,6月中旬在希腊著名的旅游胜地德尔菲举行。中国戏剧演出团应德尔菲欧洲文化中心的邀请参加了这次盛会,演出了《俄狄浦斯王》。参加集会的还有希腊、日本,塞浦路斯的三个剧团,以及十几个国家的专家、学者和戏剧工作者。6月16日晚,《俄狄浦斯王》在帕尔纳索斯山腰的古运动场上正式演出。中国的戏剧艺术家们获得了成功,一千多名观众对演出报以热烈的掌声和欢呼。演出结束后,许多观众仍不肯离去,他们有的要求中国演员签名留念,有的全家要求和中国演员合影。在
The second session of the International Greek Theater rally, in mid-June in Greece’s famous tourist destination Delphi. Chinese theater troupe at the invitation of the European Center for Culture of Delphi attended the event, performing “Oedipus the King.” Also participating in the rally were three theatrical troupes from Greece, Japan and Cyprus, as well as experts, scholars and theatrical workers from over a dozen countries. On the night of June 16, “Oedipus King” performed at the ancient stadium on the hillside of Parnassus. Chinese theater artists were successful, with over a thousand spectators applauding and cheering for the show. After the show ended, many viewers still refused to leave.
