In order to reduce the sintering temperature and improve the electrical properties of the sintered body, the doping studies of ZrO_2 and Y_2O_3 and MgO with different compositions were carried out. The results show that the compactness of Y_2O_3-ZrO_2 system is enhanced by adding MgO. If added properly, the sintered body will have a bimodal distribution of grains. This study found that the combination of (YO_ (1.5)) _ (0.08) (MgO) _ (0.04) (ZrO_2) _ (0.88) has good electrical conductivity and reliable sensitivity to oxygen. Due to its sensitivity to oxygen, its logarithmic characteristic electromotive force is generated at 440 ° C and 550 ° C. In addition, the electromotive force decreases when the oxygen pressure is low, which is the result of electron conduction and electrode polarization.
