之所以要提出“浦东学”研究,并非是标新立异,而是为了全面、深入地开展对中国改革的成功范本之一浦东新区的体制、政策、经济、社会和文化背景的研究,为推进浦东新区乃至上海的新一轮发展改革、早日把上海建成中国的经济中心、金融中心、贸易中心、航运中心的国际性大都市,提供决策咨询服务。
The reason why it is necessary to put forward the study of “Pudong Studies” is not unconventional. Instead, it is to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth study of the institutional, policy, economic, social and cultural backgrounds of Pudong New Area, one of the successful models of China’s reform.
