(一)任务第一经常向村民进行社会主义法制和安全防范宣传教育。增强村民的主人翁意识、法律意识和安全防范意识。第二发动和组织村民,搞好防特、防盗、防火、防治安灾害事故的‘四防’工作。第三组织群众制订治安公约和各项安全规章制度,落实治安承包责任制。第四协助公安机关组织村民,搞好农村社区的巡逻防范工作。第五发现刑事犯罪活动,要保护好现场,并将现行犯罪分子扭送到公安机关。
