目前,小学英语课堂教学提倡纯英语教学,课堂上教师和学生都使用英语进行教与学,尽量减少母语的使用,从而达到培养学生良好的语感,提高学生语言交际能力的目的。所以我们在公开教学中看不到掺杂任何母语的英语教学。我想能做到这一点的重要因素是学生已经掌握了教师经常使用的课堂语言,如:Open your books.Listen to me等。但同时通过我们的观察也会发现,其实所谓的纯英语教学大部分都是从教师的语言使用角度出发,学生只是跟随教师的指令或者回答教师提出的一些问题,只有少部分指令会由学生发出,尤其是在采用合作学习方式的过程中,纯英语教学很难实现,会出现学生过于机械化地运用语言,或使用母语帮助进行交流,以完成教师布置的合作任务。实践证明,为学生的语言交流环境提供有效的支持,为学生搭建自主学习平台比单纯传授知识更有助于推动小组活动,达到英语语言学习的目的。
At present, English teaching in primary schools advocates pure English teaching. Teachers and students in classroom use English to teach and learn. Minimizing the use of mother tongue can achieve the purpose of cultivating students ’good sense of language and improving students’ communicative competence. Therefore, we can not see English teaching in the open teaching without any native language. An important factor that I think we can do this is that students have mastered the classroom language that teachers often use, such as: Open your books.Listen to me and so on. However, at the same time, we also find from our observations that most of the so-called pure English teaching is based on the teachers’ language use. Students simply follow the instructions of the teachers or answer some questions raised by the teachers. Only a few instructions are issued by the students , Especially in the process of using cooperative learning, pure English teaching is very difficult to achieve, there will be students too mechanized use of language, or use the mother tongue to help communicate in order to complete the task of the teachers arranged cooperation. Practice has proved that providing effective support for students’ language exchange environment and setting up autonomous learning platform for students is more helpful than promoting knowledge of the group to promote group activities and achieve English language learning.
