Post at Roswell Park Memorial Institute says they have developed a drug-filled capsule that acts as a tiny anti-cancer “missile” to fight cancer through the circulatory system. It is said that the capsule circulates through the body until it is found that the preselected target of the cancer cell is found, which enters the target, attaches to or invades the cancer cells and releases the drug in the “warhead”. The capsule is a liposome. Post and other special non-cancerous cells grown in vitro allow liposomes to find such cells. They will usually find out that the cells that attack the protein are fed into the lipase. Post said they will also report on a result next month
