国小人少在一般的欧洲地图上或意大利地图上,人们往往找不到圣马力诺,因为它实在太小了,比例较小的地图无法把它表示出来。这也许是有不少人对这个袖珍式的古老的共和国有些陌生的原因之一吧。圣马力诺的面积只有六十平方公里,比上海的市区还要小。它位于意大利半岛中部,亚平宁山脉的东麓,四周为意大利领土所包围,与意大利的马尔克亚及埃米伦两小镇交界。它虽然是个内陆国家,但是与海岸相邻近,只要出东部国界,横跨意大利领土,约走三十多公里,就可到达地中海的支海——亚得里亚海的海滨。圣马力诺全国只有一万三千五
People are often less likely to find San Marino because they are too small on a typical map of Europe or on an Italian map, and a smaller map can not show it.
