江泽民同志在党的十六大报告中进一步指出,要建立与社会主义市场经济相适应、与社会主义法律体系相协调、与中华民族传统美德相承接的社会主义思想道德体系。贯彻落实党的十六大精神,是我们每一个思想政治教育工作者面临的新课题和重要任务。做好新时期的思想政治教育,必须认真研究教育对象的特点,树立新观念,探索新途径,充分运用激励与规范的手段,促进教育对象茁壮成长。
Comrade Jiang Zemin further pointed out in the report to the 16th National Congress of the CPC that it is necessary to establish a socialist ideological and moral system compatible with the socialist market economy, coordinated with the socialist legal system and inherited from the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation. To implement the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the CPC is a new task and an important task for every one of our ideological and political education workers. To do a good job in ideological and political education in the new period, we must carefully study the characteristics of educational objects, establish new concepts, explore new ways and make full use of incentives and norms to promote the healthy growth of educational objects.
