《杂文选刊》创刊之初,发行量少,没有经济来源,于是创办者办起了杂文刊授,以刊授养刊物,这是本刊当时独特的生存之道,其形式是请四位杂文作家为杂文爱好者(刊授学员)修改来稿,并寄去修改意见及一些杂文学习资料。每期刊授批改的作业都会按时送到邮局,但路途甚远,无交通工具也就罢了,走路也可以成行,但大量邮件的“运送”却成了问题。此时,本文的主人公——布袋(图1),便在创办者的巧手下应运而生了。
At the beginning of the publication of “Seshwa Essay,” with a small circulation and no economic source, the founder set up a publication of essays to cover the publication of journals, which was the unique way for the magazine to survive at the time.
