根据湖南省杏的自然分布条件，采用适地适生、资源优势、市场需求以及土地资源合理利用等原则对湖南省杏栽培进行了合理区划，提出了湖南杏栽培的最佳栽培区，适应栽培区，和一般栽培区，为我省杏栽培及开发利用提供指导。
