Status Quo of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives’ Assets and Existing Problems At the end of 1997, the total assets of the national supply and marketing cooperatives totaled 544.4 billion yuan, of which: current assets amounted to 363.8 billion yuan, accounting for 67% of the total assets; net fixed assets amounted to 91.2 billion yuan, accounting for assets 16.75% of the total; and total liabilities of 456.1 billion yuan. In the same period, the total industrial assets of the supply and marketing cooperatives reached 96.9 billion yuan, including: 65.1 billion yuan in current assets; 25.4 billion yuan in net fixed assets; and 78.6 billion yuan in total liabilities.
