This article elaborates on the organic whole formed by Deng Xiaoping on the theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics based on the philosophical foundation, “what is socialism” and “how to build socialism?” It points out that the fact that the theory with this tight logical structure has proved itself in the practice of reform and opening up correctly reflects the objective laws of the socialist modernization in China and marks that this theory has formed a scientific system and is the guide for us The basic ideological guideline of socialist construction.
