潮州市区原来有条“龙须沟”——北关引韩二支渠道西新路段。这里渠水污染,蚊蝇孳生,来往路人掩鼻而过,周围居民意见较大,广大群众迫切要求整治。市人大代表、政协委员也曾多次以议案、提案形式要求尽快解决这一问题,但由于各种客观原因,一直没有得到彻底整治。直至去年4月下旬,在市十届人大三次会议上,王汉林等10名代表再次提出了“关于要求综合整治二支渠议案”。大会主席团经过认真讨论,决定将这件议案交由市人大常委会审议。市人大常委会认为,办理代表议案是尊重和支持代表行使职务
In Chaozhou City, there was originally “Longxugou” - the northern section of the Xixin Road, which is the second branch of the Han River. However, due to various objective reasons, they have not been completely rectified. Until the end of April last year, at the Third Session of the Tenth National People’s Congress, Wang Hanlin and other 10 representatives once again put forward the “on the request for comprehensive rectification of the canal motion”. After careful discussion, the presidium of the meeting decided to refer this motion to the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress for deliberation. The Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee believes that handling the representative’s bill is to respect and support the representative’s exercise of duties.
