成人教育事业,正如其他任何一项社会事业一样,其存在和发展的终极原因,也是生产发展和社会进步的需要。然而,由于社会制约机制错综复杂,生产发展和社会进步的需要,并不直接作用于成人教育事业,而是通过某些中介、载体而发挥其动力作用。因此,认真研究并大力开发成人教育的动力机制,对于推动成人教育摆脱目前的困境,走上与经济建设协调的稳定发展的道路,具有重大的现实意义。依笔者浅析,成人教育的发展动力有如下几种:
The cause of adult education, just like any other social undertaking, is the ultimate cause of its existence and development as well as the need for the development of production and social progress. However, due to the complex social control mechanisms, the needs of production development and social progress do not directly affect adult education, but rather exert their impetus through certain intermediaries and carriers. Therefore, seriously studying and vigorously developing the motivation mechanism of adult education is of great practical significance for pushing adult education out of the current predicament and embarking on a path of stable development in harmony with economic construction.
