2006年陕西省文物修复中心秦建明先生偶然从一张20世纪80年代的航空拍摄照片上发现,乾陵附近有一巨型圆环,此消息一经披露,立即引起了关注。中央电视台为此制作了专题节目,于2008年1月29日至31日在《走近科学》栏目中以《破解乾陵怪圈》(以下省称《怪圈》)为名播出后,更成为公众热议的话题,短短的三个月,仅互联网上相关的网页就达数万篇~([1])。这一圆环究竟属于什么性质,与乾陵有何关系,学术界已经有多种见解(见《怪圈》),众说纷纭,但尚无定论,故仍有深入探讨的必要,是以不揣寡陋,略陈管见,以就教于方家。
