新中国建立之初,经由上海美专、苏州美专、山东大学艺术系三校合并成立的华东艺专,其美术系在继承三校教学传统的同时,又融合了新时代的美术教育思想,即强化教学与社会主义建设和文化发展需要相结合。围绕这一教学思想和办学宗旨,华东艺专美术系的课程编制与教学活动的开展,具有鲜明的时代特色。诸如,“连、年、宣”的创作成为教学活动的重要内容。此外,下厂下乡深入生活,依此独创出来的“生活记录画”等课程,也都成为有特点的教学活动,体现出华东艺专美术系教学与生产、生活相结合的特点,更展示出其教学为建设社会主义事业而服务的理念。本文通过挖掘、整理和分析华东艺专美术系的多种文献资料,以编年史的方式,按教学内容分类进行阐述,试图复原出华东艺专美术系的历史状况,为这一时期的校史研究提供参考。

In this paper, we excavate, collate and analyze many kinds of documents and materials of art department of East China Art College, elaborate on the basis of teaching content by means of chronicle, try to recover the history of Art Department of East China Art School, Research for reference.
