三、今日我行迹,遂作后人程 原定于4月14日召开的南北联席会议,因金九、金奎植未能成行而推迟到19日开始,但当会议于19日在平壤牡丹峰剧场开幕时,“两金”也还未越过三八线进入以北地区。 就在金九先生准备整装北上的时候,在京桥庄寓所接见了来采访的记者团,他向报界表明了不计成败,坚决赴会的态度。当记者们提出在目前国际对立日益尖锐化的时刻,南北协商会议是否会获得成功这一问题时,金九斩钉截铁地回答说:“我相信会成功的。如果不成功,那也是受国际的影响。尽管如此,我们民族将由此而更加团结。即使会议失败,我也要为南北统一奋斗到底。”
