运用文献资料法、实地调查与问卷调查法、专家访谈法对西北地区体育类研究生的科研实践情况进行统计、分析与研究,得出以下结论:1)研究生参加学术报告会、学术交流活动的次数很少2)发表论文数量较少、质量整体较低3)研究内容出现多元化、训练学人文化的特点4)科研能力随着学习的逐步加深得到不断的提高,但表现出“两头小中间大”的不合理[现象。在此基础上提出了如何培养和提高西北地区体育类研究生的科研能力的方法和建议。
