沿京津塘高速公路高新技术产业带正在形成气候。这条产业带的形成 ,对于中国北方特别是环渤海地区的发展具有特别重要的意义。在东北地区成为又一个经济“热点”的情况下 ,环渤海地区把京津塘高速公路高新技术产业带的建设作为一个突破口 ,将有利于这一地区成为继珠江三角洲和长江三角洲之后的又一个发展较快地区 ,并以其雄厚的科技和制造业基础成为中国新型工业化的领先地区。
