苹果褐斑病菌(Marssonina coronaria(Ell·et Davis) Davis)以芽管或附着胞一侵染丝直接穿透表皮侵入,叶背与叶面的侵入比为7:3。分生孢子萌发与营养条件关系密切,在蒸馏水中萌发率低,1%葡萄糖、10%苹叶浸汁及1%琼脂有促进作用,尤以琼脂的效果显著;分生孢子荫发适温为18~25℃,最适pH为6~7;水滴为孢子萌发所必须;光照的影响不大。该病菌适合用单孢分离。在PDA培养基上培养,菌丝不发达,但能产生分生孢子盘及分生孢子。
