With the frequent friendly exchanges between our country and other countries in the world and the requirement of Taiwan’s authorities to open people to visit their relatives on the mainland, more and more letters are sent to China by international friends, overseas Chinese and Taiwan compatriots. However, due to the progress of the times and the changes of the cities, many letters have been confused and have not even been written as road names and house numbers, making them “dead letters” that can not be delivered. Thus posting great difficulties to the delivery of the post office. However, the postal workers at various localities try their best to serve international friends and Taiwanese compatriots, overcome difficulties and revitalize so many “dead letters.” No matter the good deeds such as provinces, cities or villages are everywhere, only one example has been selected to readers.
