(1695? -1767) ① is a familiar figure of scholars studying the history of Northwest China. The mid-Qing Emperor Qianlong was a leader of the border government in Gansu Province. He was an imperial court official who served as a Bachelor of East Pavilion. In his thirty-nine years of career, twenty-nine years spent in the northwest. He served as director of Xining Road, Provisional Secretary of the Provisional Government of Gansu, Chancellor of Gansu, Governor of Gansu Province, Governor of Gansu and Governor-General of Shaanxi and Gansu. He made great contribution to the political, economic and cultural construction in Northwest China. A review of the Zhonghua Book Company’s “Punctuality of the Qing History,” Volume 373 “Yang Yingxuan Biography” (hereinafter referred to as “the present biography”), we found that the biographical account of Yang Yingxuan’s life is rather erroneous. Therefore, , Or in the Qing history research is not without benefit.
