在一般农机修造厂中,车削加工细长轴比较困难。特别是当长度和直径比很大时,由于工件刚度差,车削时易出现弯曲、振动、竹节、棱形、锥度等毛病而致使工件报废,甚至不能加工。北京清河毛纺织厂修配车间的工人师傅,总结了一套车削加工方法,能成功地加工φ4×1500~2000毫米、φ25~30×3000~5000(要求弯曲度不太高时)毫米的细长轴。加工工件的光洁度达▽7,全长范围内精度在0.01~0.03毫米内。生产率也较高,一般一根φ12×1200毫米的20号钢细长轴,粗、精加工共需25分钟,最快的只需15分钟。加工时所需的刀、卡、量具很简单,二、三级车工都能较快地掌握。
