美刊《共产主义与后共产主义研究》第37期(2004年)刊登了美国加州大学洛杉矶分校政治学系教授阿列克谢·舍甫琴柯题为《恢复党的作用:中国共产党与中国市场转型的轨迹》的文章。作者指出,该文提出了一种解释中国共产党在市场经济条件下所作出的组织上的调整的逻辑与内在机制,以及这一过程带来的结果的新的概念框架。由此出发,作者认为中国共产党在中国改革中的作用已调整,党的各级干部和机关在本质上转向以创业为中心,同时较强的党的机构和制度的存在使既得利益集团难以形成,而这些对中国的经济发展产生了积极的影响。文章的主要内容如下。
