引言 以遗传工程为主导的生物工程,使生命科学研究及应用取得了新的突破,它不但使传统的工、农业生产面临新的技术革命的挑战,而且也给其相邻学科,特别是医学以巨大影响。遗传工程兴起于本世纪七十年代,从1973年第一例DNA体外重组试验成功,至今不过十年多时间,遗传工程的商品就一个接一个地进入市场,如牛生长激素、人胰岛素、猪牛幼畜腹泻疫苗等等。由于遗传工程将给人类带来巨大的好处,所以世界各国都极为重视这一新兴学科。不言而喻,遗传工程的新理论新技术也必将推动医学科学的发展。
