天下合久必分,分久必合。在全球电信业经过此起彼伏的并购重组,技术的不断升级融合以及业务的交叉渗透,全球电信业的格局和发展日渐走向清晰:多年来人们所勾画的“三网合一”的蓝图正在成为现实!一个更加开放融合的全球电信产业在互联网高速引擎的推动下,伴随着新世纪的曙光正在加速向我们走来。电信与电视和计算机行业的整合始于80年代末和90年代初。最初的想法很单纯,即通过构建全业务网的模式,延伸到对方的领域。这种尝试最典型的例子当属拓展 HFC 网为全业务网和将窄带 ISDN(综合业务数字网)过渡到宽带ISDN。不幸的是,由于这些尝试在技术上缺乏一个可行的互连互通的连接点,最终以商业化的失败淡出历史舞台。

The integration of telecommunications with the television and computer industries began in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The initial idea is simple, that is, through the construction of the entire business network model, extending to each other’s fields. The most typical example of this attempt was undoubtedly the expansion of HFC network for the entire service network and the narrowband ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) transition to broadband ISDN. Unfortunately, due to the technical lack of a viable connectivity point, these attempts finally fade out of the historical arena with commercialized failures.
