The classic Oscar forrest Gump charted a series of social events and historical changes in American society from the late 1950s to the early 1980s through the life experience of a mentally disabled. This article focuses on the study of the social and historical events in the United States as well as the connection between spiritual culture and personal legends. The purpose of this article is to further interpret the color of American history and culture contained in the film and deepen the theme of the film.
