从美国西点军校建校以来,其法学教育课程经历了从伦理道德到宪法,从法律理论到实务,削减核心课程、增设选修课程,确定一门核心课程、十二门选修课程的模式演变;法学课程任教人员由牧师向非律师部队军官,再向拥有律师资格的专职教员转化。这些演变与法学教育的价值观、美国军事司法制度的变化、西点军校的改革等有关。我军队院校的法学教育应在课程设置、教学环节、任教人员资格上从西点军校法学教育模式中得到启示。
Since the establishment of the West Point Military Academy in the United States, its legal education curriculum has gone from ethics to constitution, from legal theory to practice, reduction of core courses, addition of elective courses, determination of a core course and evolution of 12 elective courses; Curricula were taught by pastors to non-law-force officers and then to full-time lawyers qualified teachers. These changes are related to the values of legal education, the changes in the U.S. military justice system, and the reform of the West Point. The law education in our military academies should be enlightened from the model of law education in West Point at the aspects of curriculum setup, teaching links and teaching qualifications.
